Pork and Two Veg opened for business in 2010 at Alumhurst, a five acre smallholding just outside of Woolhope in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside.
We decided to raise free range, rare breed pigs to ensure our pork delivers the best possible flavour - something so often lacking from the meat available today.
We raise them naturally, maturing slower than commercially raised pigs, and our aim is to give the animals a good standard of life in the best environment. They often enjoy fresh apple pumice from Nigel & Deborah at the Little Cider Press Company.
All of our meat comes from pigs raised in a sustainable way here at Alumhurst, ensuring total traceability and the highest standards of animal welfare.



We pride ourselves on producing simple, sustainable, great tasting pork.

Our sausages and bacon have won awards at a national and local level, including a prestigious 'Golden Banger' during British Sausage Week, 2014.

They are in high demand from many pubs, B&B's and shops in the area, including The Butchers Arms, Woolhope, Bowens B&B and The Green Man in Fownhope, The Nest near Ledbury and Crumpton Hill Farm Shop in Storridge.

And the reason? As one satisfied B&B resident put it

"Simply the best sausages I have ever tasted!"
